IMC’s VETTED. Solution Showcased at the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners

June 18th, 2012 – Reston, VAIMC, Inc., today announced that the Company will showcase its web-based vendor risk management solution, VETTED., at the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) conference and exposition June 17-22, 2012, at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

Tom Green, Director, IMC, Inc., Joseph M. Palmar, President, Palmar Consulting Group, and Matthew Muhart, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, South Broward Hospital District, will be presenting on effectively taking credentialing beyond the surface to a comprehensive systematic vetting at the Real-Time Solution to Real-Time Problems: Don’t Become a Fraudian Slip: Protect Your Organization’s Bottom Line and Reduce Vendor Risk track on Tuesday, June 18th at the Exhibitor Educational Sessions. During this session, individuals can learn to indentify the need for vendor risk management, determine the vendor risk tolerance levels, and build internal processes to manage vendor credentialing in an effort to protect your bottom line.

One of the most critical aspects an organization must determine in protecting its bottom line is its risk tolerance and what steps need to be taken to ensure compliance.  As a preventative tool to fraud, collusion and other sophisticated schemes, IMC’s VETTED. solution provides the analysis needed to make informed decisions on an organization’s vendor population. The solution transforms critical information from the vendor portal, external databases (such as Thomson Reuters proprietary databases and Dun and Bradstreet), and internal databases such as Lawson into an analysis data source.

“Data is the critical ingredient to any successful credentialing process, but it isn’t just one source or two sources,” stated Tom Green. “By evaluating critical information from multiple sources [inside and outside of the organization], stakeholders can evaluate and investigate credentialed vendors. And, in the end, you know you will only be working with the vendors that match your risk tolerance.”
