IMC Showcases Solutions at TechNet Land forces South

July 10th, 2012, Reston, Virginia – IMC, Inc. today announced that the company will be exhibiting at the 2012 TechNet Land Forces South at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, Florida on July 10th-12th at booth 1145.

TechNet Land Forces South will be “Connecting Joint and Coalition Partners for the Next Flight” focusing on how the DoD teams with Joint, Coalition, Nongovernmental Organizations (NGOs), and Interagency Organizations to overcome the tests we will face in the future. The purpose is to provide a forum for the Army and Marine Corps, as well as DoD Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard security forces, to discuss issues and share ideas for solutions.

IMC is displaying several solutions targeting big data consolidation and case management as well as ROTTM removal, developed by IMC and partner Active Navigation, which showcases how an organization can eliminate redundant, obsolete and trivial (ROTTM) data.

IMC will also demonstrate how an organization can deploy a training environment anywhere in the world for soldiers, offsite employees and/or students with an IMC Virtual Desktop Environment called "Classroom in a Box". Learn how the software can:

  • 1. Simulate any IT system or environment, including clones of production environments.
  • 2. Setup a complete stand-alone classroom anywhere in an hour.
  • 3. Redeploy individual computers or the entire classroom with a clean environment quickly.
  • 4. No network connectivity or additional components needed - plug in and run.
  • 5. Ruggedized storage and transport - deploy to any environment.

Attendees will also learn how Virtual Desktop Environments (VDI) can streamline their organization by reducing costs and simplifying software administration all the while enhancing network security without impact on production systems.

IMC will also showcase our records management solutions, encouraging attendees to streamline their data and turn digital landfills into valuable data assets. Finally, IMC will be discussing and providing information on the new Tasker Application, a solution IMC developed with long-time partner IBM, based on IBM’s advanced case management suite of integrated components. The Tasker Solution will provide electronic coordination, staffing, and task management of related documents (e.g., text files, briefings and spreadsheets), and the capability to comply with structured workflow processes as well as the flexibility to create/develop ad hoc workflows.
