July 25, 2012, Reston, Virginia- IMC, Inc. today announced the U.S. Navy awarded their IDIQ, SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e), to the company. This multiple-award contract vehicle will allow government users to solicit business, including Naval Sea Systems Command(NA VSEA), Naval Air Systems Command (NA VAIR), Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPA WAR), Naval Supply Systems Command (NA VSUP), Military Sealift Command, Strategic Systems Program (SSP), Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), Office ofNaval Research, and the U.S. Marine Corps.
SeaPort-e is the Navy's electronic platform for acquiring support services (in 22 functional areas) including Engineering, Financial Management and Program Management. In an announcement made by the government, this acquisition program for services procurements estimates a maximum of $5.3 billion of services that will be procured per year via orders issued under the SeaPort-e multiple award contracts, with a program ceiling of $38 billion. In addition, all awards will be solicited through the SeaPort-e portal, providing standardized, efficient means of soliciting orders from vehicle holders.
