THE ITINERARY

Lectures and introductions

On Day 1, you’ll get an inside look at IMC—who we are, how we use technology, and why Diversity & Inclusion are key to our success. You’ll meet your buddy over lunch and gain insights from IMC colleagues in an interactive panel discussion.

Day 2 is all about personal and professional growth. You’ll take part in workshops designed to enhance your skills and confidence, followed by an exciting challenge—trading participants will tackle a simulation, while tech participants will work on an algorithmic optimization task.

Workshops and shadowing

In addition to hands-on technical workshops led by our engineers and traders, we’ll also dive into the challenges women might face in the tech industry. A dedicated session on imposter syndrome will provide insights and strategies to help you build confidence and navigate your career with self-assurance.

Networking opportunities

Networking opportunities are woven throughout the event, giving you multiple chances to connect with IMC employees. You’ll have lunch with your buddy, engage in a panel discussion open to all IMC colleagues, and enjoy a welcome dinner the evening before the event.

Day 2 concludes with a final networking session over bites and drinks, allowing you to build valuable connections that can support your future career.

I felt really empowered after seeing women in finance with diverse backgrounds and interests all working together.
