Graduate Broker Trader

We are looking for a recent graduate to join IMC as a Graduate Broker Trader. IMC is a high frequency trading firm with a strong trading presence in the broker market. As a Graduate Broker Trader, you will be part of highly motivated team facing the daily challenge of managing the execution and risk of complex trading portfolios. In this role, you’ll respond to quotes in the broker market both over the phone and on screen, leveraging quantitative analysis to discern the best opportunities. Additionally, you will actively build and enhance the quality of our electronic trading strategies, requiring superior analytical, mathematical, and computing skills. We’re seeking someone who loves participating in markets and building tools to succeed in them. 

Your Core Responsibilities:

• Engage in immersive, practical training to quickly acquire the skills needed to be successful on a trading desk
• Work in a team of broker and screen traders to optimize trading utilizing quantitative strategies and analyses
• Make markets throughout the day on a variety of mediums
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers
• Perform trades analysis to improve trading
• Develop, maintain, and enhance trading models, algorithms, systems, and positional risk
• Find a competitive edge to drive results in the market while collaborating effectively with fellow IMC traders

Your Skills and Experience:

• Current university student graduating between September 2025 and July 2026 that is pursuing a degree in a quantitative field of study (e.g. Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or similar)
• Superior numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Thrives and is able to make decisions in a fast-moving and competitive environment
• A team player with a proactive, self-driven attitude
• Experience with programming in Python is preferred
•  A desire to learn and solve complex problems
• Interest in financial markets; previous knowledge is not required
• Must be available for full-time employment starting in August 2026

The Base Salary range for the role is included below. Base salary is only one component of total compensation; all full-time, permanent positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and benefits, including paid leave and insurance.
