At the beginning of every year, we take our new hires on a whirlwind trip around the world to visit our global offices, get to know each other, and learn the IMC ropes before they begin their careers with us. We caught up with some of this year’s new starters to find out what they’ve loved about their international traineeship. This week, read about the many learning opportunities IMC can bring.

Learning to work in a new way

Sydney-based trader Charbel put it best and most simply when he said his traineeship highlight was “learning new things I previously had no idea about.” Whether you’re a new grad or an experienced hire taking the next step in your career, there’s a lot to learn to prepare you for your time at IMC.

For our new hires, one of the most exciting things is that you are, for the most part, at liberty to work however you like. Moncef, a technologist from Amsterdam, discovered that quickly. “The trainers never try to enforce solutions on us,” he said. “Instead, they let our skills and creativity roam free, and each of us ends up with our own unique solution.”

Our new hires had lots more to say about the experiences and opportunities they encountered throughout their traineeship. Visit IMC on Facebook and Instagram.
