Volunteer work

An entire day of trading is donated to a cause.

We hold an annual Trading for Charity event across all three offices where the proceeds from an entire day of trading are donated to a cause that is chosen by our employ.

In 2016, we chose to support Room to Read (www.roomtoread.org), a 17-year-old international literacy organization whose bold vision of a world transformed by educated children inspired us to invest in their work.

IMC is funding Room to Read’s expansion into additional communities in the eastern African country of Tanzania. Tanzania has a population of more than 53 million people, almost 90 percent of whom live on less than two

dollars a day. Because a large portion of the population is under the age of 14, improving the education system.
