We are strengthening our long-term commitment to India with a move to a new, larger office in Mumbai—one designed to support IMC’s rapid growth, foster innovation, and attract top-tier talent.
Located in the prime business district of Worli, the new office on the 34th floor of Altimus boasts stunning views of the Arabian Sea. This expansion is not just about adding more office space; it underscores IMC’s belief in India’s potential and the country’s growing role as a hub for world-class engineering, trading, and quantitative research talent.
Built for growth and innovation
IMC Mumbai’s growth has outpaced expectations. “The India office was growing faster than anticipated and we needed a bigger space to support our expansion plans,” said Jocelyn Dentand, Managing Director of IMC India.
Scalability is key, with the design of the new office providing room for continued growth. “We’ve planned this office to be future-proof. If we continue to grow at this pace, we already have a backup plan to expand further within the space,” Jocelyn added.

Designed for collaboration and innovation
The new Mumbai office reflects IMC’s culture, featuring open collaboration spaces, breakout zones, and flexible workstations to ensure seamless teamwork across trading, technology, and business operations.
A standout feature is the centrally located cafeteria, which occupies 20% of the total office area and offers stunning coastal views.
"We wanted the best space to be accessible to everyone. That’s why our cafeteria, where teams come together, is located in that prime spot. This is what differentiates IMC from other employers," said Mohamed Sufiyan Shaikh, Operations Engineer.
“After a long day's work of fixing bugs and writing code, there’s nothing more serene than watching the sunset—a perfect moment of peace to unwind and recharge,” continued Graduate Software Engineer Utkarsh Darolia.

The cafeteria is equipped with table-tennis, pool, and foosball tables. Plus, with a large screen and an open space, it can also double-up as the venue for town halls.
The office also has dedicated quiet rooms to support focused work, a prayer room, and a family room and a massage room to help IMCers loosen their shoulders after a hard day’s work.
“The common areas are perfect for a quick break, and the premises also comes with a well-equipped gym,” said IMC Graduate Trader Vibodh Pankaj.
Sustainability at the core
In line with IMC’s global sustainability initiatives, the new Mumbai office has been designed with energy efficiency and environmental responsibility in mind.
We have applied for LEED Platinum certification for our new office, the highest standard in sustainable building design. Every aspect of the office—from lighting and ventilation to materials and energy consumption—has been optimized to reduce our environmental footprint.
A long-term commitment
IMC’s continued investment in India signals our confidence in its role as a global hub for innovation. As we embark on this next phase, we look forward to growing our team and shaping the future of trading and technology in the region.
