IMC’s flagship trading challenge is back this April with a brand new player experience. If you’re a STEM student curious about a career in quantitative trading, this is your opportunity to experience it first-hand. Sign up now to trade, code, strategize, and optimize your way to prosperity!

What is Prosperity?

Prosperity is IMC’s flagship annual trading competition for STEM students, providing a unique opportunity to learn more about a career in trading through a series of manual and algorithmic challenge rounds.

Designed by a team of IMC traders, quants, and engineers, each challenge mirrors real-world market dynamics, but in a simulated market environment.

Over the past 3 years, more than 48,000 players making up over 28,000 teams have signed up to compete for the title of IMC Trading Talent of the year. This year, Prosperity 4 takes traders to a new frontier: outer space.

You’ll sharpen your Python skills by refining algorithms and deepening your understanding of market dynamics from market making to options trading. In addition, the manual challenges will test your sharp thinking and ability to find creative solutions.
