IMC Launchpad is an exclusive two-day discovery programme for ambitious university students who are interested in learning about quantitative trading and engineering roles at a leading global trading firm.
If you’re curious about what life at IMC could look like and want to gain hands-on technical skills, this experience is for you.

ELIGIBILITY
The program is open for students who are available and eligible to pursue a summer internship in 2027 from the following institutes:
- Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) - Bombay, Madras, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Roorkee and Guwahati
- Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani
- Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata
- Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI)
- Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru
- IITs: B.Tech, M.Tech, Dual Degree – all disciplines
- BITS: B.E. and M.E. – all disciplines
- ISI: B.Stat, M.Stat, M.Math, M.Tech, M Sc, and BSDS – all disciplines
- CMI: B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. – all disciplines
- IISc: B.Tech and M.Tech – all disciplines

The itinerary
Take part in introductory sessions including a general welcome to the programme, an introduction to IMC, and a tour of our office. You'll learn about the work we do through interactive presentations and games, gain insights into trading and tech roles at IMC, and get the chance to network with established full-time employees and fellow students in a welcoming atmosphere.
Dive deeper into IMC with further sessions on trading and engineering. Following a session with one of our analysts, trading students will participate in market-making games and a trading simulation. Engineering students will learn from our strategy and execution teams.
