In a dynamic market environment, IMC proudly fulfilled its purpose in 2024: providing continuous and essential liquidity across the world’s financial markets. As ever, we sought to provide this service in a way that resulted in a leading experience for market participants, while contributing to a thriving and resilient financial ecosystem.
It was a landmark year for IMC, as we celebrated our 35th anniversary as a liquidity provider and a record year for our business. Net trading revenues reached $2,235 million, up 63% from the previous year.
Our performance reflects the strategic investments we continued to make in our business: primarily the growth of our organization, the development of new trading capabilities, and investments in innovative technology. We also advanced our goal of providing liquidity across all markets globally, expanding our trading footprint across geographies, asset classes, and instruments—including continued growth in India and our expansion into foreign exchange and commodity derivatives market making from our London office.
The steps we have taken together in 2024 have helped to reinforce our core strengths as a business—our position as a global market maker and our world-class people and technology—while putting us in a strong position to grow by exploring new strategies and opportunities.
As we take the next steps, we remain committed to providing essential liquidity to global financial markets, contributing to a thriving and resilient market ecosystem in the years to come.
