IMC delivered record financial results in 2025, with net trading revenue increasing 40% to $3,120 million. This was driven in part by record trading volumes across many asset classes, instruments and geographies, as markets experienced significant bursts of volatility—particularly around developments in AI, tariffs, and digital assets—alongside periods of declining uncertainty.
Against this backdrop, IMC’s continued investment in technology and quantitative research capabilities enabled the firm to respond at scale. IMC maintained a strong financial position, ending the year with a total equity of $2,581 million, compared with $1,866 million in 2024.
In June, IMC successfully completed its first-ever debt issuance, raising $500 million through a Term Loan B transaction. Following this successful debut, IMC upsized to $650 million in December, underscoring continued market confidence in the firm’s credit profile. The additional capital strengthens IMC’s ability to pursue growth opportunities.
